Wilson irons are making a buzz around the golfing world!

Back in the 70s and 80s and even before then, Wilson clubs were very popular.  I am sure you have heard of Fluid Feel, Dyna Power, 8802, etc.  Wilson has created many instruments that won many major championships.

I personally check what is being ordered through our website and in retail and I definitely see more and more Wilson orders coming in.

To my surprise, FG-62 (the muscle back blade) has been very popular.  As Wilson says in their catalog, it is truly a modern classic.

What is modern about it is:

  • Larger head
  • Camber-sold
  • Lower CG

In my mind, Classic Wilson forged was very boxy looking.  Flat sole, Square toe, compact head, NO offset.  It was very intimidating.

This new classic looking FG-62 iron is very pleasing to the eye.  Not intimidating.  Yet it has the feel and control of a blade.

But it is a blade so please do not expect to shoot a good score when your swing is not in sync.
