A little while back, we received our Demo MIURA MB-001. There has been a lot of speculation concerning the new blade, so we decided to review the iron. The new MB-001 has a slightly thinner topline, higher toe creating a more upright look. We tested the #6 iron shafted with a KBS Tour Stiff, measuring 38″, and gripped with an Iomic Sticky 2.3. Our 2 testers are JDM fans and considering these irons for purchase.
Our First Tester was impressed with the classic looks, and solid feel. He said that the long irons might be pretty tough to hit if you are not on! He felt the iron is definitely for a feel player with a consistent swing.

Our Second Tester was a little tired after hitting balls before the test. He is a Miura fan who liked the looks of the new MB, and the feel is less “dead” than the Tournament blade. The new blade sounds great, and feels good also. The feel is soft, but not “dead” as stated before. Customer liked these MB-001 over all the other models, except the Series 1957 blades from Miura.
