Historic win for Hideki Matsuyama at the 2025 Sentry tournament in Kapalua, Hawaii.

35 under par is the PGA Tour tournament record!

Hideki has been using the Graphite Design Tour AD DI shaft for quite some time.

The thinner profile enables him to prevent the shaft from accelarating and getting ahead of him.

DI stands for “Direct Impact”

The DI shaft has been around since 2010 still used by many top players around the world.

As you can see in the chart below, it is a low spinning mid-high trajectory shaft:

What is your Tour AD shaft?

I personally play the Tour AD UB shaft on my Titleist GT2 driver.

I hit the ball low and low spin. With the UB, I have a medium trajetory and medium spin to maximize my carry yardage.
